Empowering Small-Scale Farmers: Crop Production Training for Sustainable Agriculture
Agriculture Accelerator at a Glance

At Love Howick, we are dedicated to uplifting our community through sustainable agriculture training and innovative development projects. Our Small-Scale Farmers Support Program, made possible by our valued partnership with FNB, empowers small-scale farmers with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive. Alongside this, our Urban Vegetable Garden Project addresses food insecurity by creating a sustainable source of fresh produce for vulnerable community members while serving as a training hub for local residents. Together, these initiatives are transforming lives and building a stronger, more resilient community.

Small-Scale Farmers Support

Small-scale farmers are the backbone of our agricultural community. They play a vital role in ensuring food security, driving local economic growth, and preserving sustainable farming practices. Through our Small-Scale Farmers Support Program, made possible by our valued partnership with FNB, we are committed to empowering these farmers with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive in an ever-changing agricultural landscape.

Urban Vegetable Garden

Our Vision
The vision of the Urban Vegetable Garden Project is driven by the need to provide sustainable ways of feeding the vulnerable in this tough economic climate. We hope to produce enough to supplement our weekly food parcels and help our key community leaders earn income from sales at a local vegetable market. This garden will also serve as a training hub to transfer skills to our local community, empowering them to set up their own gardens at home.
