Our Entrepreneurship Development Programme, is designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and networks they need to turn their business dreams into reality.
The Meta Entrepreneurship Mentorship Programme provides guidance, support, and essential skills to up-and-coming entrepreneurs. This programme equips participants with the tools to navigate the challenges of starting and scaling a business successfully. Through mentorship, workshops, and hands-on training, we aim to foster a culture of innovation and resilience within our community.
1.Skill Development: Participants gain critical entrepreneurial skills such as strategic planning, financial management, marketing, and soft skills through interactions with seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts.
2.Business Refinement: Entrepreneurs refine their business ideas, develop comprehensive business plans, and sharpen their pitching skills to attract investors and secure funding.
3.Community Building: The programme fosters a supportive network of like-minded individuals, enabling collaboration, partnerships, and peer learning that extend beyond the programme duration.
1.Ideation Phase: A four-week workshop to generate and refine business ideas, explore market landscapes, and evaluate feasibility.
2.Test Phase: Entrepreneurs develop prototypes, test them with target markets, and pitch their ideas to a panel of business leaders. The top 15 participants proceed to the Bootcamp.
3.Bootcamp Phase: A three-day, two-night intensive training to equip entrepreneurs with essential business skills and foster innovation.
4.Capital Quest: The top five entrepreneurs present their business plans to qualify for seed funding to launch their startups.
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme is divided into three key components:
[A] Entrepreneurship Bootcamp
The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp is a two-day immersive experience for aspiring entrepreneurs who have completed our Entrepreneurship 101 Training. This getaway offers expert-led workshops, networking opportunities, and hands-on exercises to unlock entrepreneurial potential.

[B] 3-Month Mentorship Programme
This intensive mentorship programme provides personalised guidance, actionable insights, and networking opportunities. Participants receive strategic advice from expert mentors, refine their business plans, and attend weekly workshops on vital topics such as:
•Marketing in Today’s Climate
•Financial Literacy and Basic Accounting
•Digital Solutions for Start-ups
•Public Speaking and Confidence Building
•Writing an Effective Business Plan
[C] 'Sharks Den' Business Pitch Night
At the culmination of the programme, selected entrepreneurs pitch their business plans to a panel of experts. The most promising ventures are eligible for capital investment through the Love Howick Empowerment Fund, supported by private sector grants and donations. Each funded SMME is assigned a Business Coach to ensure wise use of capital and successful scaling.

3. Contribute to Boot Camps – Sponsor skills development sessions for business leaders and students
4. Become a Mentor – Guide and support emerging entrepreneurs through our mentorship programs
5. Invest in Capital Funding – Provide financial backing to help launch promising businesses
6. Fund Ongoing Development – Support continued skills training and business education
