1. ADOPT A SPOT
Businesses and community groups are encouraged to take ownership of a designated area within the ‘Renoverge Zone’. By adopting a spot, you commit to ensuring that your area remains clean, litter-free, and well-maintained. This includes:
• Removing litter and weeds regularly.
• Purchasing and servicing Love Howick litter bins.
• Restoring paving and ensuring street lights are functional.
• Undertaking general maintenance and landscaping garden areas where possible.
Adopting a spot not only contributes to the beautification of Howick but also fosters a sense of pride and responsibility within the community.
2. LOVE HOWICK LITTER BINS
Sponsor or assist in the manufacturing and installation of Love Howick litter bins along pedestrian routes in the CBD and Main Road areas. These bins are a practical and visible way to keep our streets clean and encourage residents and visitors to dispose of waste responsibly. Your support in this initiative will help create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for everyone.
